The conversation was very helpful to know I was not alone in my experience of widowhood and trying to downsize. Jennifer’s enthusiasm and experience was very calming and I feel more confident about moving forward.
I found her to be very authentic honest and she asked just the right questions.

I’ve been working with Jennifer for the past several months decluttering and organizing my home. Jennifer is amazing to work with! She has such great vision as to how to prioritize and tackle any of the tasks that need to be accomplished. She quickly implements an efficient plan for each of our sessions!
Jennifer is extremely patient and her enthusiasm and determination to get the job done are contagious. Whenever we finish a session, I am always amazed at how much has been done in just a few hours.

Change is not always easy and can be overwhelming. Jen does an incredible job giving you the control, while she is guiding you to the desired outcome. Over the past ten years, Jen has helped me understand that I don’t have to keep those candle sticks, just because they were my great aunts. I can keep what I love and display only what makes me happy. As a special education teacher, I use the organizational techniques to help parents and children break down categories for an easier schedule and daily transitions. Jen provides you with those extra hands that we all so desperately need.

Ever since Jennifer was a little girl she has found organizing fun. Upon receiving a BA degree in marketing/business from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton Jennifer moved to Charlotte to pursue her “plan” to work in corporate America. However, shortly after 9/11/2002 Jennifer realized God had an entirely different path planned out for her. Since then Jennifer has followed her passion for organizing. She has written 5 books on the topic including Organize Now! A Week-By-Week Guide to Simplify Your Space and Your Life and Purpose Over Possessions: Decluttering Your Life So You Can Live On Purpose?. She absolutely loves meeting new people and helping them to eliminate any clutter that is preventing them from living their happiest and most fulfilling life. She encourages her clients to embrace their God-given purpose and let go of anything this is getting in the way of that. Jennifer and her husband have two children: Randsley & Bryceton.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Hmmm, I am a day person. I like to get up about 7 am and get to bed by 10 pm.

What is your favorite outdoor activity?

I absolutely love the water so boating, kayaking, water skiing or just laying by the water.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? 

Peter Walsh once told me “Don’t write a book because you want to make money. Write a book because you have something the world needs to hear”.

When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?

I will usually exercise, read or watch Netflix.

The best part of waking up is…?

Being able to spend another day pursuing my goals and dreams!

Name 1 thing you miss about being a kid.

Climbing trees. I lived on a property surrounded by trees. I would climb into one and either read or daydream.

What adventure changed your life?

A trip to St. Lucia with my husband to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary. We zip-lined through the rain forest, climbed a volcano, took mud baths, fished for marlin, and swam with the dolphins.

Have you any hidden talents?

Hidden? I am a really good interviewer…does that count?

What’s one thing that not many people know about you?

That I have written 5 books on the topic of organizing.

The quiet and stillness before everyone else gets up

Visiting New Orleans for the first time

Yes, but I know everything that is in it.

If you could organize for a celebrity, who would it be?

Sutton Foster so I could organize her playbills and costumes

Paperback…I love my local library
