Q1: How did you first get into the organizing industry?
Ruth: For many years I’ve helped friends and family organize spaces and events. After a realization that I needed to spend more time in life doing the things I value most, I decided I wanted to spend time helping others do the same.
Q2: What have you learned so far as an Expert Organizer?
Ruth: Each project, just like each Client, is delightfully unique. Finding what works best with each of their spaces, habits, lifestyles, preferences and even personalities can be both the most challenging AND rewarding part of the job.
Q3: What advice would you give someone just starting out in the organizing industry?
Ruth: Have patience and be willing to be stretched. Mentally embrace the negative and emotionally embrace the positive. Enjoy the growth process and the uniqueness of each of your clients as you get to know how to serve each of them in the best way possible.
Q4: What do you look forward to in the future as an Expert Organizer?
Ruth: I look forward to growing in my abilities and expertise, as I help others find more capacity in their lives for what they value most.
