As we wrap up 2020, we can successfully say that this year wasn’t all that bad.
Sure, we underwent some of the biggest challenges we have ever had to deal with, a global pandemic, and unprecedented situations. However, on the brighter side, we came out of this year strong, grateful, and endlessly blessed. We have never experienced such gratitude and such appreciation for the little things. From being able to go out and enjoy nature to spending time with our loved ones, we truly learned what was important this year.
With 2021 so near insight, we want to recognize our fantastic Expert Organizers for all of their hard work, dedication, and flexibility during this past year.
As we move to a new year, we owe it to our team to showcase the incredible people who were patient, cooperative, and helpful during this unprecedented year. With that being said, Me In Order will be rolling out a new blog feature each month that highlights our Expert Organizer of the month. We want to show our team members how much we care, and we want to show off their excellent organizing skills in the hopes that you will make a connection and try them out in 2021.
After all, you WANT to know who is entering your home and helping you lead a clutter-free life…right?
Join us in congratulating our Certified Expert Organizer® Vanessa on all her hard work in the year 2020! We appreciate all that you have done for Me In Order and your clients. Here’s a little more about our professional organizer Vanessa:
Q1: How did you first get started in organizing?
Vanessa: I first got started in organizing by helping friends and family members in their homes, which gave me the experience and confidence to work with people professionally.
Q2: What is your favorite thing about your job, and why?
Vanessa: My favorite thing about my job is seeing people’s happy faces when they feel in control of their space again. Life can be chaotic at times, so it’s important to feel a sense of calm in our personal environment.
Q3: If you could do any organizing project, what would it be and why?
Vanessa: I love projects that involve decluttering because it’s a chance to revisit what is truly valuable to us. We’re always evolving and changing, and sorting through our stuff is a great way to reflect on our past, present, and future selves.
Q4: What is some advice you have for someone just starting in the organizing field?
Vanessa: Some advice for someone just starting out in the organizing field is to listen with compassion to the client and their needs first so that you can more seamlessly get the end result they desire. Continuing education is also very important in keeping knowledge fresh and effective.
Vanessa’s excitement about education, personal development, and helping others has been the foundation of her success at Me In Order. We truly value her as a team member, and we are proud to showcase her as our first Organizer of the Month.
